Endorsed College Program
Over 39 colleges/universities participate in NKBA's Endorsed Program. The Endorsed College Program was established to offer quality training at accredited institutions to prospective kitchen/bath design professionals. There is one college in Southern California that offers the endorsed program, Mt San Antonio College: 1100 North Grand Avenue, Walnut CA 91789. Enroll in an NKBA Endorsed College and join the NKBA. As a Student member, you can take advantage of many members-only benefits. The goals of the NKBA Endorsed College Program are:
To encourage and support excellence in kitchen/bathroom design by establishing standards for developing and evaluating college programs for endorsement.
To promote quality education through the attainment of professional standards within the kitchen and bathroom industry.
To provide assurance to the kitchen and bathroom industry, and the public, that student who graduate from NKBA endorsed programs have met educational and industry design standards.
To provide assistance in developing and establishing new endorsed programs.
To provide ongoing assistance to endorsed programs for improvement of their educational offerings.
To ensure that the unique characteristics of a curriculum will be recognized and encouraged within endorsement guidelines.
To increase professional employment opportunities for students.
To promote quality education through the attainment of professional standards within the kitchen and bathroom industry.
To provide assurance to the kitchen and bathroom industry, and the public, that student who graduate from NKBA endorsed programs have met educational and industry design standards.
