CLCID's Response to Assembly Bill 2482 - Letter to Assembly Member Fiona Ma
Dear NKBA Members,
CLCID has been diligently announcing to its members in California about AB2482 "Registered Interior Designer". We have covered approximately over 11,000 subscribers in the interior design community. Also, CLCID and IDPC has formed an "Alliance" to better serve our members.
As you know CLCID has taken steps with affiliate organizations, alliances and schools to collectively oppose AB2482. Now we're going to need your support!
With an overwhelming response from members and non-members about AB2482 we want to address AB2482 with some talking points. First, thank you for your concerns, this is what CLCID is here for "To Serve as a Voice for The Interior Design Community" .
It's important to reach as many people in our interior design community as possible with this information and more to come. By having the majority oppose AB2482, we will be able to reduce the costly revenues inherent in fighting AB2482. Remember, we are the silent majority and the opposition is the verbal minority. Let's stop AB2482 before it gets too far...
